External Access

Priory's students, parents and carers, and staff can access many of our online services from outside the school - for example, students can access their documents and email from home. Please use the large icons on the right-hand side of the home page to access the service(s) you require. We have published a Guide to External Access which you may find useful if you are a parent or carer.


How to open RTF files on a Mac

Some files on Show My Homework or the Shared Areas are RTF (Rich Text Format) files. These are very widely used as users don't need Microsoft Word to open them. Macs can easily open them too - you can either use their default text editor, TextEdit (right click the file and choose Open with > TextEdit) or simply drag the file into Safari.

Network, SIMS and Internet services are internal only and displayed here purely for information. Email, Home Access (Your Documents and the shared areas), Show My Homework (SMHW) and Insight are also available externally. Please note that SMHW is hosted by its parent company and may occasionally be unavailable due to circumstances beyond the school's control. If a red light is currently displayed next to a service please do not attempt to use it as you may lose data.

If an external service appears to be available but you still cannot connect successfully please email the webmaster
