Priory School Equality Group is responsible for monitoring and evaluating equality of opportunity for all stakeholders – staff, students, parents/carers and visitors. The group actively seeks to promote equality of opportunity and is always keen to receive views and comments and learn of any problems relating to discrimination, or inequality of opportunity. These could include issues around the areas of race/ethnicity; disability; gender; sexual orientation; social disadvantage.
The school fulfils its obligations under the Disability Discrimination Act (1995) to consult with disabled stakeholders through the Equality Group. Further information can be found in our Equality Policy and our Access Plan. Printed copies of these can be obtained from the Headteacher's PA, Mrs Chalmers on Extension 371. Parents, students and staff with a disability as defined by the Act are encouraged to download the Disability Discrimination Act Form.
