Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages Maternity Cover

The Governors seek to appoint a well-qualified, linguist able to teach both Spanish and French, with a dynamic and innovative approach to modern language teaching. The ideal candidate will be able to teach Spanish and French to KS4. This vacancy is temporary to cover maternity leave. The hours of work are 19.5 hours a week, (0.6 FTE), Monday to Wednesday.

This would be an ideal opportunity for either an experienced practitioner or for an NQT starting his/her career. All expressions of interest are welcome.

Teacher of Music


A Teacher of Music, Temporary for (0.5 FTE) a week from January 2019 (or soon after this date) until 31 August 2019, to work within the Performing Arts Curriculum Area, which includes art, photography, dance and drama as well as music. The days of work are Monday, Tuesday from 12.10 p.m. and Thursday.

An ability to teach KS3 and KS4 would be essential and the ability to teach other subjects within the arts would be desirable. Art, Music, Dance and Drama each have their own specialist accommodation.


The salary scale for this vacancy is Teachers Main Pay Scale (MPS).

Cover Supervisor

The Governors of this successful school seek to appoint: 

A dedicated and flexible person to undertake the role of Cover Supervisor, who in the absence of a class teacher, will supervise students in the school or department under the supervisory arrangements established by the school. An interest in education and the ability to deliver ideas and concepts to an audience of young people would be desirable.
